My
Story

In 2012, after almost 20 years of being a Chef, I was a partner in a restaurant that we unfortunately lost in a fire. I had been in a kitchen for my entire life, and being a new mom, I knew I needed a change of pace, and the idea of Betty's Bomb Ass Burgers was born.  I had no idea what I was in for.

I bought Betty 1.0 in March of 2013, my little Cheezy Tot, Olive, was 2 months old. I completley renovated the inside and spray painted the whole thing myself and people thought i was crazy, but I had a vision. Betty 1.0 was a 1972 Horton Ambulance and when I would turn on the lights to drive, the engine would die; I'm still convinced it was haunted. I had 2- 12 inch electric griddles and one table top fryer. After selling my first two cases of burgers, I named myself, The Burger Queen of Cleveland. By year two, I realized that I had something really good going, with lines longer than any other truck. I was ready for Betty 2.0, the one we all know and love today. By the end of 2015, Betty had fully come to life. In 2020 when Covid hit, I had to find a way to continue making money for me and my girls. We took to neighborhoods and leaned on communities to help us through that crazy time.

Since then, Betty has transformed and grown into something I could have never dreamed of. People absolutley love us and show so much support wherever we go. I would say I'm so lucky, but in reality I have worked my ass off for this and hope to continue for many more years to come. I have countless awards and recognitions, but the only one that really matters is my little Cheezy Tot telling me she's proud of me.

Thank you for Twelve incredible years, Here's to a few more.
